swiftfox 是一個針對 Debian 最佳化的 mozilla firefox 改，目前有支援下列 CPUs 的版本:
* swiftfox-athlon64 – Athlon 64

* swiftfox-athlon-xp – Athlon-XP/Sempron/Duron
* swiftfox-athlon – Athlon (Thunderbird)/Duron (Spitfire)

* swiftfox-pentium4 – Pentium 4/Celeron (Willamette, Northwood, Celeron D)
* swiftfox-prescott – Prescott/Core Solo/Core Duo/Core 2 Duo
* swiftfox-pentium-m – Pentium M/Celeron M
* swiftfox-pentium3 – Pentium 3/Celeron (Coppermine, Tualatin)
* swiftfox-pentium3m – Pentium 3M
* swiftfox-pentium2 – Pentium 2
1. 使用 root 權限增加下面設定到 /etc/apt/sources.list file:
# deb http://getswiftfox.com/builds/debian unstable non-free
2. 然後執行 apt-get update 同步套件庫列表，然後執行 apt-get install 適合您的 CPU 的版本
例，安裝針對 Core Solo/Duo 做最佳化的 swiftfox:
# apt-get install swiftfox-prescott

壓縮比结果由被壓縮的數據大小而定。 通常使用 7-Zip 的 7z 格式能比使用 zip 格式的壓縮檔案小 30-70%。 並且使用 7-Zip 建立的 zip 格式比大多數其它壓縮軟體建立的都小 2-10%。
